Paint Protection Film
Rock chips stop here.
Professionally installed PPF for the Las Vegas environment. Gloss, matte and colored film, precision-cut to your vehicle.
Why PPF
A clear layer between your paint and the road
Paint protection film is a virtually invisible urethane layer applied over your painted surfaces. It absorbs rock chips, road debris, bug acid and environmental fallout so your factory paint does not have to.
Self-healing
Light scratches and swirl marks disappear with heat, so the surface keeps looking new instead of collecting wash marks.
Hydrophobic top layer
Water, dirt and contaminants bead and release, which means less scrubbing and fewer wash-induced scratches.
Up to 10-year warranty
Full vehicle Matte PPF, Track Package Pattern Plus and the Full Front End Pattern Kit all carry a 10-year film warranty. Headlights film is not sold with a stated warranty term.

Where the damage happens
Vegas has its own damage pattern
Coverage decisions get much easier once you know where a car in this valley actually gets hit.
Freeway rock
The 15 and the 215 throw debris constantly, and it lands on the same places every time: the bumper, the leading edge of the hood, the mirrors and the fenders just behind the front wheels. That is why partial and full front coverage exist, and why they are what most customers buy first.
Rocker panels and the area behind the wheels
Your own tires throw grit backward at speed. On lowered cars, trucks that see dirt, and anything driven hard, the rockers and the lower doors sandblast over time.
Sun on horizontal panels
Film with a UV-resistant top layer helps the panels that take the most direct exposure. It is also why film quality matters here more than in milder climates: cheap film yellows under this much UV, and yellowing on a hood is far more visible than a rock chip ever was.
The high-touch spots
Door handle cups, the loading edge of the trunk, and the area under the door handles collect fingernail scratches. These are small pieces of film and cheap to add while the car is already in.

Install
Precut kit or bulk install
There are two ways to cut film for a vehicle, and the difference shows up at the edges.
Precut
The film is plotted from a pattern made for your year, make and model. It is fast, consistent and the material use is efficient. This is a precut kit and it may or may not come with wrapped edges, depending on the pattern and the panel.
Bulk
The film is cut to the vehicle by hand. In some instances it may be more beneficial to opt for a bulk install to get better coverage, or custom edges and corners. On complex bodywork, and on cars where a visible film line would bother you, this is the better answer.
We will tell you which one your vehicle should get and why, before anything goes on the car. Neither is universally better. It depends on the panel, the pattern availability and what you care about.
The work
Precision-cut, wrapped edges where it counts
Together
Film and coating do different jobs
These get confused constantly, and the confusion costs people money in both directions.
Film handles impact
Rock chips, road debris, scratches. It is a physically thick urethane layer that absorbs a hit your clear coat would not survive. Nothing else on this list does that.
Coating handles chemistry
UV, oxidation, hard water, bug acid, bird droppings. It is microscopically thin, so it does nothing against impact, but it makes everything easier to clean.
Most people want both
Film on the panels that take hits, coating over the entire vehicle including on top of the film. That gives impact protection where the impacts happen and easier maintenance everywhere.
Coating on top of film
Film has a hydrophobic top layer already. Adding a coating over it increases that effect and makes the film itself easier to keep clean, which matters because dirty film is what people mistake for yellowed film.
Living with it
What owning filmed paint is actually like
Film is low maintenance, not no maintenance. The rules are simple and they are the same rules that keep the film under warranty.
Touch-less car washes only. Never a wash with brushes, and never select the spray wax option.
Keep pressure washer nozzles at least 45cm, about a foot and a half, from the film surface. Getting closer is how edges lift.
Clean bird droppings, bugs and visible contaminants regularly. Film resists staining, it is not immune to it.
Use isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber wipe along the edges to remove dirt and wax buildup.
Full care instructions for both film and coatings live on our aftercare page, and we go through them with you at pickup.
Questions
PPF, answered
Will I be able to see the film?
On a properly installed job, no. The film is optically clear and we cut it to the panel so edges are tucked or wrapped wherever the panel allows.
Does it really self-heal?
Light scratches and swirl marks, yes. Heat from the sun or warm water closes them. It is not armor against a deep gouge that goes through the film.
How long does it last?
Full vehicle Matte PPF, Track Package Pattern Plus and the Full Front End Pattern Kit are backed by a 10 year warranty. Real-world life also depends on how the vehicle is stored, washed and driven.
Can I put a ceramic coating on top?
Yes, and we recommend it. The coating makes the film easier to keep clean and adds hydrophobic performance on top of the impact protection.
Precut kit or bulk install?
A precut kit may or may not include wrapped edges. In some cases a bulk install gives better coverage and custom edges. We will tell you which one your vehicle should get and why.
Does film damage the paint underneath?
On factory paint in good condition, no. That is the point of it. Where people get burned is film applied over a cheap respray or previously damaged paint, because removal can lift paint that was never bonded properly to begin with. We inspect before installing and will tell you if that is a risk on your car.
Can I put film on a car that already has rock chips?
You can, but the chips get sealed under it and become permanent until the film comes off. If the front end already has damage worth addressing, address it first, then film it so it stays fixed.
Is film visible on the edges?
On a good install you have to look for it. Where the panel allows, edges are wrapped around and tucked so there is no visible line at all. On panels where wrapping is not possible, the edge sits just inside the panel line, which is far less visible than a chipped bumper.
How long does an install take?
It depends entirely on coverage and vehicle complexity, and film needs time to fully cure afterward. Tell us the year, make and model and what coverage you are considering, and we will give you a real answer for your car rather than a generic one.
